Enrolment Requirements
This is a direct enrolment program you can register for online. This certificate is designed for adult learners from diverse career and educational backgrounds. To qualify for admission to this program, you must be:
- a mature student (over 21 and out of school for at least 2 years with no significant post-secondary education); OR
- have successfully attended at least one year of college or university; OR
- otherwise be eligible for admission to the University
Part-Time- Online (Asynchronous)
- Course delivery is asynchronous and are completed through the course management system, Moodle.
- Students have set deadlines to complete their work each week, but do not have any "live" in-class components.

Airan was also a 2011 & 2012 Judge for Corporate Reporting Awards sponsored by the CICA. He started off his career in Market Risk and has spent the past 10 years focused on Credit and Liquidity Risk, primarily at the largest Canadian Banks. Airan has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst and Financial Risk Manager designations coupled with his MBA from Schulich School of Business which he earned in 2000. Outside of work, Airan enjoys family time with his wife and two young (and highly active) daughters. He enjoys photography as a hobby, but rates himself a novice at best.

Jeff's background in business and human resources management spans more than twenty-five years. In his capacity as an independent consultant, he has worked with some of Canada's most influential companies, completing client engagements in both the public and private sectors. His international experience includes working with post-secondary partners in Indonesia to assist with the development of applied entrepreneurship curriculum and the establishment of community business support centres.
Jeff has taught management development, organizational behaviour, human resource planning and development, and business foundation courses at McMaster and York universities, and at Seneca, Conestoga, and Confederation colleges. Jason Russell has a PhD in History from York University, and is the author of a book and several academic articles relating to work and labour issues both in historical and contemporary contexts. He regularly presents papers at national and international academic conferences. He has taught courses on labour/industrial relations and other work and employment subjects at five different colleges and universities including York, the University of Western Ontario, and McMaster. His current research interests focus on the development of management as an occupation in Canada from the 1940s to the 1990s.
